DocsCass, your agentic CFO
The nightly read
Every night, after 1 am India time, Cass reads each source you have connected, runs its checks on the latest books, and compares what it finds with the read before.
What happens, in order
- Read the sources
Zoho Books, linked Google Sheets and Excel files on OneDrive, and connected apps are read again. Tally's helper sends new entries every hour while the PC is on.
- Run the checks
The 24 checks run on the latest books. A check that lacks the data it needs says so, as “can't check yet”, instead of guessing.
- Write the diagnosis
Runway, burn and cash; each problem with its cause, figures and options; the fix list; and the tax dates ahead.
- Compare with the last read
What changed becomes an alert: a new problem, one more urgent, one cleared, runway falling, a customer going late.
- Tell you
The bell in the app shows each change. If a read brings anything other than good news, members with alert emails on get one email.
When a linked sheet changes
- Same file: nothing to do. Only its “last checked” time moves.
- New rows, same tabs and column headings: imported with the reading you approved the first time, and the diagnosis follows.
- Changed shape (a tab gone, a heading renamed or moved) or a row the reading can't place: the new read waits for you in Settings, Books, with an alert. Nothing is guessed.
The first read
The first read records the starting point, so alerts begin from the second. Your diagnosis is there from the first.
